To celebrate Queen Elizabeth's historic 2012 Diamond Jubilee, the Woodland Trust has launched the Jubilee Woods project. The project aims to plant 6 million trees, creating hundreds of Jubilee Woods and 60 exclusive Diamond Woods.
Jubilee planting events are being held all over the country. Why not come along to one of the Diamond Wood events listed below and be part of something historic.
Once you've got stuck in and planted trees at one of the events, how about a wonderful walk through a nearby wood? Relax and imagine how that newly planted wood could look in the future.
