This category celebrates our connection with forests. Because they’re our playgrounds, our inspiration - and they need our protection.
WWF is working hard to protect forests across the globe from the many threats they face - from illegal logging to climate change. As well as being a home to wildlife, forests are vital to our planet’s health and fundamental to our well-being. Forests also provide food, shelter, fuel and a source of income to 1.6 billion people in poverty.
This category is all about the wildlife you find on your woodland trips from birds and bees to deer and dormice.
Bringing two great "tree brands" together in a community outreach effort, DoubleTree supports VisitWoods to develop a series of natural education initiatives that encourage and inspire people across the UK to connect with and appreciate the importance of woodlands and their wildlife.
