National Trust

As well as historic properties, the National Trust also looks after woods and other outdoor spaces.

The National Trust own around 940 woods, many of which are attached to their properties.

The National Trust are working with the VisitWoods project by telling us where their woods are, allowing new audiences to discover their woods.

When searching for a National Trust wood on VisitWoods please be sure to check their website for more information as many of their sites charge an entrance fee and have restricted opening times.
