How your school or community group can get involved with VisitWoods East Durham

VisitWoods offers many opportunities for you and your community to take part and discover your local woodlands.

You could

• come along to one of our existing events

• organise your own woodland visit

• add photos and blogs to the VisitWoods website

• volunteer

VisitWoods already works with lots of community groups including younger children and their families, youth groups, older people and disabled people, helping them to discover woods and build the confidence to start organising their own visits.

If you want more information on VisitWoods or ways to get involved either as a group or as an individual then speak to Chris Affleck, the VisitWoods East Durham Outreach Officer. Chris will be happy to help you explore the opportunities available to you to visit woods.  You can contact Chris by email at chrisaffleck@woodlandtrust.org.uk or call 0191 527 3333 or 07899 060434.
